BELLS 1 - Norwich City Racers 2

Bedford were host to league rivals Racers, who started strong and were on top from the start. Racers who had a weakened team were at the most hoping for a draw with many players playing out of position. The midfield left open a big gap and let the attacking midfielder put the ball in the net.

Bells who are never beaten until the final whistle kept on the pressure and were having shots from all over the park. Ali Hayes broke through and scored from an acute angle to keep the teams equal at half time.

Early changes from Bells were notable and mid-way through the second half Bells went 2-1 down to their rivals. Bells never really got back into the game, but with the playing standard still high and will be hopefully rewarded soon from the quality of games they are currently playing.

Bells travel to Stowmarket on Sunday hoping to get at least a point from the game to keep them from the bottom spot.
